More than trivia, this quiz prompts recall of the small details that influence Commission operations and past decisions. Each month, a different "teaser" is posted.

Commission Members who know the answer(s) should: email the correct response before 8 p.m. Monday., 2/7/05! Send your answers to Service.Commission@maine.gov. All correct answers will be well rewarded at the meeting.

For the next ten months, the Commission will celebrate its own anniversary and accomplishments.

Among the Anniversary Events are two Symposia that will explore the *relationship* between Government and the Voluntary Sector using the Canadian Voluntary Sector Initiative as a case study.

During the first 2 years of MCCS existence, there was a Maine office of CNCS with a staff person who oversaw the programs in the state. When the office was combined with NH and VT to create the tri-state office we've known for the last 8 years, that person resigned and took a position with Job Corps in Aroostook County.
