- Maryalice Crofton

- Executive Director
Joined the Commission staff on April 1, 1995 and served as Grant Program Officer until she was appointed Director in May 1996. Maryalice's responsibilities include supporting the volunteers who serve as Commissioners, serving as liaison to external partners, and representing the Commission on regional and national initiatives.
Previous work included 15 years as Executive Director of two Maine Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies, a year with USDA Cooperative Extension as evaluator of a national project, and five years with Univ. of Connecticut Cooperative Extension. She earned her master's degree in counseling from UMaine and her bachelor's from St. Joseph College in Connecticut.
- Rochelle Runge

- Public Relations Representative
Joined the team in April 2008. She is a University of Southern Maine graduate who has worked in a number of fields including, marketing, software, and staffing.
Most recently Rochelle was the Program Manager for the Army Volunteer Corps on Fort Drum located in upstate New York. The installation has more than 3,000 volunteers and serves over 40 organizations.
As the Public Relations Representative, Rochelle ensures the community and stakeholders are informed about the Commission’s resources, programs, policies, and events. Her work will include researching best practices, developing policy and plans, and guiding and implementing activities to accomplish communications goals.
- Pam Zeutenhorst

- Training and Disability Coordinator
Pam joined the Commission in September 2008. Prior to relocating to Maine in November 2007, Pam was a Volunteer Center Manager & RSVP Project Director in Northern California. She has more than 15 years experience as a Volunteer Manager and community organizer. Pam has participated on state and national committees to increase participation in service by people with disabilities, faith-based communities, and residents of economically stressed communities. Pam is responsible for developing training programs and courses of instruction in the field of volunteer and community service program operations, volunteer administration, and inclusion.
- Elizabeth Cole

- Professional Development VISTA
Elizabeth is a recent graduate of Vassar College in New York, where she received a degree in history. This year, Elizabeth will be working with the Maine Commission for Community Service as an Americorp VISTA. She will be working on Project INVEST to help address the need for accessible volunteer management training in a variety of formats across Maine. She will work in partnership with York Community College to design and provide a training course for novice volunteer managers which will be presented in conjunction with an online format available across the state of Maine. Additionally, she will conduct outreach to promote volunteerism in Maine and VolunteerMaine.org.
- Lauren Kelly

- Marketing VISTA
Lauren, a native Arkansan, joined the Commission in September 2009. She has lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma for the past 14 years where she graduated from the University of Tulsa and worked at KTUL-TV as a television sales Account Executive and Internet Sales Director. She was active in the Tulsa community serving on the boards of Women in Communication and The Center for Individuals with Physical Challenges and volunteering for a number of local non-profit organizations. As an AmeriCorps VISTA, Lauren will work to provide extensive marketing and public relations support for the statewide VolunteerMaine.org project.
- Brad Hunter

- VISTA Leader
Brad joined the Commission in February 2010 and is a native of Michigan . He graduated from Grand Valley State University in Grand,MI. Brad recently completed a year of service as an AmeriCorps VISTA with the United Way of the EUP Volunteer Center
in Sault Ste. Marie, MI. As a VISTA in the Volunteer Center , Brad was a member of the Volunteer Centers of Michigan network, and from the experience this connection provided decided to pursue a VISTA Leader position in order to contribute to the national service movement through a positive leadership role to other VISTAs. Brad is serving a second term of service and is a VISTA Leader with the VolunteerMaine VISTA Project.
