American Heart Month

Cardiovascular diseases, including stroke, are our nation's No. 1 killer and although preventable, they are one of our Nation's most costly and widespread health problems. Since 1963 Congress has required the president to proclaim February "American Heart Month." Read President Obama's proclamation and find more information on how you can join the battle against these diseases.
