Current trends in Volunteerism: February 17th, 9:00-10 am.
As our social, political, and economic climate changes, so
does the volunteer world. In order to be proactive, it is important to consider
these changes and assess possible ways of responding.
This will be a
60 minute discussion-based webinar. All participants will be required to read
and respond to a 5 page issue brief on current volunteer trends prior to the
session.

The fully on line course that begins February 15 and finishes March 26. During the six weeks, students can expect to progress at their own speed and cover the basic competencies at the Novice level. Actual time on task for the course is approximately 20 hours during the six week period. Cost for the course for this first run is partially under-written by the grant and will be $125 to the individual or agency per participant. After this first run of the course, it will be $250.
