VOLUNTEER GENERATION FUND
Convened quarterly technical assistance meeting for grantees.
Provided technical assistance webinar regarding Year 2 performance measures.
Negotiated Year 2 budget revisions as needed with grantees and sent Year 2 contracts to grantees.
Conducted monitoring visit to Friends in Action Community Connections.
Capstone student submitted final report (evaluation plan). Meet with representative from Muskie School of Public Service to discuss implementation of evaluation plan.
Reviewed and submitted summaries of Year 2 applications from Friends in Action and United Way of Androscoggin County for Grants Task Force.
Provided technical assistance to grantees as needed.
Participated in MCCS and SPO staff meetings.
Participated in quarterly National Service & Volunteerism Council meeting.
Participated in “Symposium on Service and Inclusion: Improving the Member Experiene through Intentional Strategies” sponsored by the National Service Inclusion Project in Crystal City, VA.
Participated in REACH (Research and Evaluation Assistance for Change) meeting. REACH is a state-wide network of Maine colleges and universities and community prevention programs with two mutually supportive goals:
1. To provide program evaluation assistance to local youth prevention efforts,
2. To offer authentic community-based learning experiences for college students
Drafted Disability Inclusion procedures and Participant Inclusion form.
Reviewed and provided feedback to Center for Community Inclusion and Disability Studies on revision of Core Competencies for Managers of Volunteers that includes resources regarding inclusion of people with disabilities.
Provided technical assistance to Corporation funded program staff.
Trained in use of AidMatrix and designated as an administrator for the Commission.
ASC Training & T/A Committee and Professional Development Subcommittee – Participated in teleconferences to coordinate State Commission staff professional development and explore opportunities for regional and national training.
