  • Assisted in the planning and outreach for AmeriCorps Week
  • Organized and filed information related to quarterly financial and program reports and processed reimbursement requests
  • Met with Vermont Commission Staff to discuss Emergency Preparedness strategies
  • Continued out reach regarding the AmeriCorps Formula RFP – including interview with WZON - Bangor
  • Facilitated the monthly Technical Assistance meeting for AmeriCorps Grantees
  • Provided technical assistance to subgrantees on various topics, including the orientation of new Acting Director of Maine Conservation Corps

Learn & Serve:

  • Processed Service-learning budgets for approval and reporting
  • Revised SL Global Youth Service Day plan and met with Lincoln Middle School, Portland, and KIDS Consortium Representatives as potential partners 
  • Welcomed new Service-learning VISTA and provided initial orientation training and ongoing oversight

Emergency Management:

  • Met with Vermont Commission Staff to discuss Emergency Preparedness strategies
  • Participated in a weeklong training in Volunteer & Donations Management at the FEMA Joint Field Office in Vermont
  • Participated in the CNCS sponsored Disaster Services Convening in Washington, DC with representatives of 13 other Commissions, CNCS staff and FEMA staff.
  • Attended monthly Volunteer and Donations Management Planning Team Meeting
  • Monitored National Donations Management Network site

Other National Service:

  • Organized and participated in National Service Day at the Capitol Building Hall of Flags


  • Prepared content for and compiled CNCS Programs Newsletters (bi-weekly)
  • Bi-weekly staff meetings
  • Hosted Grants Task Force teleconference meeting
