VOLUNTEER GENERATION FUND

Attended “Erasing the Lines” inclusion training hosted by United Way of Franklin County.

 

Continued to work with Washington County’s Neighbors Care Advisory Council to identify new partner to serve as fiscal agent.

 

Contracted with USM Muskie School of Public Service to implement evaluation plan of Volunteer Generation Fund. 

 

Processed fiscal reports.

 

Provided oversight and responded to requests in counties without a regional administrator for Volunteer Solutions (Volunteer management technology on VolunteerMaine.org.)

 

Provided technical assistance to grantees as needed.

 

 

GOVERNOR’S AWARDS FOR SERVICE & VOLUNTEERISM

Coordinated Planning Committee teleconferences.

 

Proclamation requested from Governor in conjunction with National Volunteer Week.

 

Outreach to State Legislatures who have constituents being honored at Governor’s Awards for Service & Volunteerism in April.

 

Conducted follow-up on tasks assigned.

 

 

OTHER ACTIVITIES

Participated in MCCS and SPO staff meetings.

 

Assisted at the Maine AmeriCorps Conference.

 

Produced March issue of VolunteerFare.

 

Met with Chair of Excellence & Expertise Task Force and Training Coordinator to review tasks from strategic plan and update workplan.

 

Participated in Donations Coordination Team meeting at Maine Emergency Management Agency.

 

Meet with Maine Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) representative to develop workshop for MEMA conference in April.
