INVEST

INVEST (Increased Nonprofit Volunteer Education & Skills Training) addresses the need for accessible volunteer management training in a variety of formats across Maine, including online learning.  With courses ranging from non-credit to graduate level work, Project INVEST will help you maintain a more active and effective volunteer program. 

The Maine Commission for Community Service (MCCS) is pleased to announce that recipients will receive 50% off the tuition of their choice this spring only. 

For nearly three years, MCCS worked to lay the ground for high quality, competency-based training and technical assistance for managers of volunteers. As a result of that preparation, MCCS obtained one of only four national grants awarded by the Corporation for National and Community Service in 2007.  The grant will further MCCS' efforts to provide a curriculum and context for volunteer management in the State of Maine.
