Join your friends and neighbors that are 55+ and are giving back to their community by joining RSVP, a program that will match your skills, interests, and talents with a local food pantry, or food nonprofit needing your help.
Penquis RSVP in Knox, Waldo and Lincoln Counties focuses on Food Pantries and fresh food distribution where the need is great to feed our neighbors. RSVP volunteers make a huge impact on food insecurity in Maine.
We have opportunities to fit your skills. You can serve in a leadership or organizational position, be part of a team, or participate in projects and special events. Volunteer opportunities are available with projects that are just getting off the ground, or well-established. Volunteers serve weekly, monthly, seasonally, and as needed for day of and special events.
Call Penquis RSVP. We will help you find a volunteer opportunity that best suits your needs, interests, and time available. Let us help you explore ways to make a contribution.
