November 2012 Administrative Staff Report - Grant Programs Officer



  • Prepared materials for AmeriCorps Grantee Performance Reports
  • Met with Conservation Corps staff regarding performance and programmatic issues over past year in anticipation of leadership transition
  • Met with Bangor stakeholder group regarding possible program directions for Mayoral/Governor initiative
  • Met with State Bureau of Investigation regarding newly promulgated rules for Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) requirements and processes
  • Consulted with Goodwill Industries staff on planned national direct grant application
  • Collected and reviewed monthly financial reports and processed reimbursement requests.
  • Collected close out documentation from subgrantees for recently completed AmeriCorps Formula grant
  • Hosted monthly Subgrantee Technical Assistance training
  • Provided frequent technical assistance to sub-grantees on various topics

  • Provided technical assistance to Service-learning grantees
  • Facilitated Service-learning Task Force meeting
  • Supervised Service-learning VISTA

Emergency Management:

  • Co-Chaired monthly Volunteer and Donations Coordination Team meeting
  • Monitored National Donations Management Network site

Other National Service:

  • Provided guidance to Senior Corps program staff regarding new CHRC rules
  • Met with new VISTA leader as part of orientation to Commission
